Hey, hey—I’m Whitney, a yoga-loving wellness, faith, and lifestyle blogger, currently living in Arlington, VA. I started Flow & Favor as a creative outlet to complement my passion for wellness and my pressing need for work-life balance. Through Flow and Favor, I’m hoping to connect with other busy, overstimulated millennials by sharing an authentic (and unfiltered) perspective on the challenges of balancing work and wellness, the pursuit of personal / professional greatness, and living a Christ-centered life.
All of the social media perfection we digest aside, life is hard! And, if we leave it to our like / repost / retweet culture, it’s easy to feel like you’re living your life all wrong. I want Flow and Favor to be a space where confusion is embraced, spirits are lifted, and “having it all together” is called out for what it is!

I’m a native New Yorker—born and raised in Queens—turned Texan, turned Virginian, living the most random/eclectic life I could have ever imagined. After earning a degree in Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University, I moved to Dallas as a Teach for America Corps Member. Following two years as a middle school math teacher and a year at an education non-profit, I settled into a private sector consulting role (cue my crazy travel schedule).
Outside of work, I spend most of my time hunting down fun workout classes, practicing handstands, ranting to my sister, and watching my boyfriend husband watch TV. I’m not a huge fan of breakfast, I sing along to every song I think I know (even when I don’t know the words), and I’ll eat anything if there’s sweet potato in it! I’m a wannabe creative, a corny joke lover, and an avid coffee-free coffee dater.
