Well, if this incredibly late post is any indication, this week has been a struggle!
Due to poor planning and overestimation of my stamina—I thought I’d do Monday’s workout after landing in Dallas around 10pm—I’ve been playing catch up all week! Today I’m going to double up and get two workouts in so I can salvage what’s left of the week.
The good news: I haven’t quit and I think I’m already seeing results (take a look at my pics and judge for yourself).
The Week in Review
I felt so encouraged by Week 1. I was really glad to be starting off with the 2 x 15 approach—we do 15 reps of each of the exercise twice through. The moves felt familiar and I was undoubtedly prepared.
While I had to modify quite a bit, I finished the week feeling really proud of myself. I’m officially back on the wagon (at home and on the road)!
Looking Forward
I’m already a few days into Week 2 and let me just say that the 3 x 10 approach is killing me! The workouts feel a lot longer (and tougher), even though I’ve done the same number of reps by the end of the workout. Pray for me, y’all. I’m only a few days in and I’m already in “wah, I can’t do this” mode.
